Some business experts say the global economy is erasing the borders between countries. Goods move more freely from one country to another. A company based in New York may have thousands of workers scattered around the world. A product made in one country may contain parts that were manufactured in five or six other countries. Figuring out which products are made in the U.S.A. isn't easy. A shirt, for example, may carry the label of a U.S. company but might have been made in Taiwan, Mexico, or another nation.
