Potts presented data on the anabolic treatment of osteoporosis using parathyroid hormone (PTH) at the 65th Annual Scientific Meeting of the American College of Rheumatology, held November 10-15, 2001, in San Francisco, California. He reviewed a growing body of evidence from a number of clinical trials evaluating the effect of PTH to rebuild bone mass and decrease fractures.
