CLEVELAND _ It was suggested to guard Ricky Davis that he is the vice president of musical selection for the Cavaliers. Davis quickly amended that statement.
"I'm the president," he said.
It seems there has been a coup in the locker room. But guard Wesley Person, previously in charge of the sound system, doesn't mind.
"For three or four years, I've been playing that slow music, but that's kind of died down," Person said. "I guess I'm old school. Now, we've got more young kids on the team. Ricky's come in and played that rap and fast R&B, and (the players) like it."
Just as Davis, acquired from Miami in October, has not been bashful about taking charge of the music, he also has been assertive on the court. Davis, who wears his hair in braids and has plenty of tattoos, has brought a swagger that the team needed.
