IRVING, Texas _ There is no question the Cowboys (2-8) see the Washington Redskins (5-5) as a bitter rival.
But heading into Sunday's game, they also see them as an inspiration.
The two teams have gone in opposite directions since the Cowboys got their first victory of the season over the Redskins, 9-7 six weeks ago.
That loss was the fifth in a row for the Redskins, who were then billed as a lost cause.
Now the Redskins are talking playoffs after becoming the first team in NFL history to win five consecutive games after opening the season with five losses.
The Cowboys won one more game after the victory over the Redskins, but are riding a four-game losing streak going into the rematch in Washington.
