That hat's worth more than what some drivers make in a year
People at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway held an auction of Formula One items. Some 22 pieces went on the virtual block. Total take: $187,356 that will benefit children of the victims of the Sept. 11 terrorist attack. The item with the highest bid was the helmet worn by Michael Schumacher during the United States Grand Prix. It went for a paltry $55,200.
