2001 DEC 6 - (NewsRx.com & NewsRx.net) -- Toni Weschler, MPH, fertility expert and author, and Ovusoft, LLC, have received U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) of TCOYF Fertility Planning Software.
TCOYF is the first FDA-approved software to automate the Fertility Awareness Method, a scientific means of determining when a woman is fertile, when she has ovulated, and when she is pregnant. The software is endorsed by Toni Weschler and is based on the principles outlined in her book, Taking Charge of Your Fertility.
The software application differs from ovulation kits and fertility monitors in that it allows a woman to directly and accurately track her own natural fertility signs on a daily basis, thereby maximizing the chances of successfully achieving pregnancy. In addition, the application provides instant access to patient fertility records for physicians so that they can evaluate possible infertility issues.
