One afternoon when Brian's parents were not home, his older brother had some friends over to their house. Brian had been in his room when they came over. He was hungry, so he went into the kitchen to get something to eat.

He saw one of his brother's friends lighting up a cigarette that smelled really funny. The friend turned to him and said, "You're Brian, right? Here, have a puff."

"I don't smoke cigarettes," Brian said.

"This isn't a cigarette," said the boy. "It's pot--marijuana"

"It smells awful," Brian said as he made a face. "Why are you smoking that?"

"It's good stuff. Try it!"

"Ahh, he's a baby," the second boy said.
