Are those drinks really alcohol? (Alcohol).
Rich and his father went to the Quick-E Mart to pick up some food for dinner. Rich saw some drinks in the cooler. He knew them from the commercial he had seen on TV. They looked really good.
"Dad, can we get these?" Rich asked.
"No, Rich," answered his father.
"Ah, come on, Dad. Why not?" Rich pleaded.
"Because those are wine coolers, and they have alcohol in them," said Rich's dad.
"Really?" asked Rich. "I didn't know that. When I saw them, I thought that they were a fruit drink. See?" he said pointing to the pictures of strawberries and oranges on the bottles.
"I can see why you would think that," said his father. "A lot of kids make that mistake. They see the fruit and think it's fruit juice. But they're wrong. In fact, all these drinks have alcohol in them."
