Eighteen young men from the Boulder Dam Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America have recently become Eagle Scouts:

Jason Antonich, 15, is the son of Bobbie and Dale Antonich. He is a member of Troop No. 7 sponsored by Elks Lodge No. 1682. He is a student at Boulder City High School and is interested in a career in the Marine Corps.

Vernon Jay Applegate, 18, is the son of Boyd and Christine Applegate. He is a member of Troop No. 542 sponsored by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He is a student at Moapa Valley High School and is interested in a career in medicine.
