"Air Technology" from LTG
The West German company Lufttechnische GmbH, of Stuttgart, applies its extensive expertise in the field of ventilation and air conditioning to the manufacture of continuous drying ovens for printed and varnished metal sheets of tinplate, steel and aluminium.
The practice of "air technology"--from which the company gets its name--is directed at reducing fuel consumption and exhaust air to a minimum and improving fume incineration. As an aid to effective "air technology" application, the company has developed the `Digivent' digital electronic control system.
FECO licence
LTG builds a range of UV and hot air ovens for drying cans, drums and tubes (belt and pin--FECO designs under a licencing agreement) as well as sheet-drying versions. The LTG type 4723 was specifically developed for drying varnished or printed aluminium tubes.
