Complete coating line installation incorporates latest innovations and environment-friendly solvent-burn
Ingenieria y Hornos INGHOR S.A. of Bilbao, Spain, has recently commenced installation of a complete coating line for tinplate at the RECUDESA plant in Calahorra (Spain).
The complete line consists of sheet feeder, coating machine, input table, the drying oven (furnace) proper, the cooling chamber, output table and sheet stacker. The oven service machinery is mounted above the oven and consists of pre-heat and exhaust fans, heat exchanger and circulating chambers, solvent exhaust unit and incinerator chamber.
Production capacity of the new line will be 6500 sheets per hour through a 36-m oven with feeder, coater and unloader. A non-stop feeding and stacking facility is incorporated and all command elements are controlled through a programming logical controller. Another feature of the line is energy-saving solvent incineration to meet the needs of the most stringent environment protection regulations.
The INGHOR continuous line for coating and drying metal sheets incorporates integral incineration of solvents as a standard item to make economic use of the heat energy generated by their burning while giving a high degree of cleanliness to the air evacuated to the outside environment.
The INGHOR automatic feeder is controlled by the PLC's sequential electronic command circuitry to give high speed operation to the suckers and electrovalves controlling the feed from the plate stack. Uninterrupted synchronized adjustment with the coater is possible and the feeder is fitted with an electronic double-sheet sensor. An optional non-stop mechanism is available and all controls are ...
