Roberto Petagine of the Japan Series champion Yakult Swallows picked up another postseason honor Thursday, one that showed a side of his sterling play that doesn't appear in the box score.

Petagine was named winner of the Mitsui Golden Glove Award as the top fielding first baseman in the Central League for the second straight year. He was one of four Swallows chosen.

Petagine received 87 votes from the 150 media members casting ballots for the 30th edition of the annual awards, finishing comfortably ahead of the Yomiuri Giants' Kazuhiro Kiyohara, second with 47.
