President Arroyo is expected in the United States on the third week of November. According to Philippine embassy sources, she may make a stopover in San Francisco and then proceed to New York and finally to Washington D.C.
Aside from her meeting with President Bush, she will speak at the United Nations, address members of the Philippine American Chamber of Commerce in New York, hold a roundtable discussion with prospective investors, visit Ground Zero, and join the Filipino community at a mass at St. Patrick's Cathedral for the victims of the terrorist attacks. She may also be interviewed by the New York Times.
I understand that the President's schedule is so tight, she may have no time to sit down with the Filipino community on any other occasion but at the religious service and at the business meetings.
