Timber company Picop Resources, Inc. will resume operations by the middle of next month even with one hand tied down by government requirements, a ranking official of the company said.
Picop yesterday said it has received approval from the Department of Energy and Natural Resources (DENR) to "perpetuate" a 50,000-hectare forest area which would allow it to harvest, plant and own the trees in the area under an international forest management agreement (IFMA).
