In its bid to double the number of stores it has in Maryland, Home Depot Inc. bought the former Hechinger's location in Pasadena and plans to bring a 91,000-square-foot store to the location.
The Atlanta-based chain of home improvement stores plans to open the new Anne Arundel County store, which will include a 24,000-square-foot garden center, in January 2002. The store will employ about 120 people.
