2001 NOV 14 - (NewsRx.com & NewsRx.net) -- Immuno-Designed Molecules, S.A. (IDM), has signed a worldwide agreement with STEDIM, a leading manufacturer of sterile, single-use container systems for the biopharmaceutical and the biotech industries. For IDM, this agreement represents another step forward toward drug delivery in the domain of therapeutic cancer vaccines.
IDM is currently running Phase III clinical trials for ovarian cancer and Phase II trials for melanoma, leukemia, bladder and prostate cancers.
With production facilities in both France and the U.S., STEDIM will develop and provide IDM with flexible, single-use, sterile bags that will further enhance IDM's unique know-how in cell processing technology, both on clinical and industrial levels.
