Groveport-based LifeLine Shelter Systems has closed a $1.86 million deal to purchase a 100,000-square-foot building in the Obetz Industrial Park.

The company plans to move its manufacturing operations into 50,000 square feet of the warehouse-style structure at 2000-2050 McGaw Road, said Michael Hogan, LifeLine's chief financial officer.

LifeLine makes specialty vehicles used as mobile health care units.

The other half of the building will continue to be leased to Mount Carmel Health System, which uses the space for storage.
