THE aviation industry's loss in the aftermath of the September 11 terrorist attacks in the US is proving to be the video conferencing developers and streaming media services' gain.

Independent research firms say the fear of flying among business travellers will almost certainly result in a boost in spending on streaming media services. They expect the business to soar to at least US$1.4 billion (US$1 = RM3.80) in 2002 from US$900 million this year.
