So, what is to be done? What can be done to reduce what Mr. Buckley has cited as the "pervasive presence" of porn?
Quite a bit, actually. We are not helpless in the face of this problem. Those who toil in the anti-pornography field say that a false sense of helplessness is one of the pornographers' best allies. People feel that they can do nothing, that all must submit, that the courts have ruled we have no choice in the matter, that this is the modern world-get used to it. Yet this is untrue. There are many things to be done, on a number of fronts: legal, policy, and social (and we will take these categories in turn, although the categories tend to blend).
