1. Boast impeccably arched brows.

You'll never look polished without perfectly shaped eyebrows. Too-skimpy brows are tacky, and anything too bushy looks sloppy. The beautiful, groomed-just-enough look to go for: neat, full, and with a rounded arch (and no traces of unibrow), says Eugenia Weston, eyebrow guru and celeb makeup artist. Her best at-home tweezing tips: First, brush your brows up and pluck obvious strays. Then brush brows up again, hold the brush along the top of your brow line, and use tiny scissors to trim any hairs that peek out above the edge. Also trim the tops of the hairs in the innermost corners to make them slightly shorter than the others--this will create the illusion of a higher arch.
