(HOLX), a leading provider of specialized medical imaging equipment for women's health and general radiographic applications, has launched a service-oriented extranet site for its subsidiary, Lorad, of Danbury, Connecticut. Lorad develops and manufactures breast imaging systems to support the early detection of breast cancer. The Lorad site provides electronic ordering capabilities for registered dealers, along with on-line resources for parts identification, technical bulletins, Operator's Manuals, and CME-approved training courses for Lorad equipment. It also provides a forum for e-mail response to nonurgent technical questions.
