Gundaker Commercial Group Inc. is the latest entrant in the bid for CBC High School's Clayton campus.

Meanwhile, the price on the nine-acre property is climbing.

Christian Brothers College High School's board decided to put the nine-acre property up for bid after three interested buyers said they would pay the $16 million asking price, said Mike Ross, chairman of CBC's board.

"We consider them all to be bona fide buyers," said Ross, president and chief executive of Union Planters Bank. "The first one to the table with a clean contract will be the one that gets the nod."
