Jakarta, Oct 29 (ANTARA) - The Indonesian government is expected to intensify diplomatic measures abroad in an effort to put an end to the US military strikes on Afghanistan, an ulema has said.

"I am looking forward to the government's measures to intensify diplomacy," leader of the Tebu Ireng Islamic boarding school in East Java province, KH Yusuf Hasyim, said after his meeting with Vice President Hamzah Haz here Monday.
