Thomas Beasley calls himself "Spiderman."

It's a nickname he feels symbolizes his fight against multiple sclerosis.

Beasley, 33, spends his days riding his bike across the United States to raise money for Americans who suffer from this disease. He has been in Albuquerque this week.

Multiple sclerosis is a disorder of the central nervous system, which involves decreased nerve function associated with the formation of scars on the covering of the nerve cells.
