KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 23 (Bernama) -- The true extent of computer crimes in Malaysia is still unknown as most organisations in the country are reluctant to share information on their incidences with law enforcement officers, the Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Seri Dr Rais Yatim said.

Companies often preferred to keep their records to themselves and circulate such information only within respective industries, he said.

"We can understand that but what we are saying is that the criminal part of the job must be shared because there is no telling when a company can be hacked," he said.
