On the second day of the New Mexico Technology Showcase, Microsoft will unveil and demonstrate its new operating system, Windows XP.

Sessions are from 10:30 a.m. to noon, 1 to 2 p.m. and 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

"XP is one of the first products from Microsoft that has some interesting and unusual technologies, which is reason to be excited," says Todd Underwood, of Oso Grande Technologies. "But there are some deep privacy and security issues that go along with that."
