Jakarta, Oct 19 (ANTARA) - Russia has offered to supply military equipment to Indonesia in talks on increased bilateral cooperation in trade, economy and military technology, Foreign Minister Hassan Wirayuda said in Shanghai, China, on Friday.

Speaking to reporters after a meeting between President Megawati Soekarnoputri and Russian President Vladimir Putin on the sidelines of the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) meeting, Hasan said Russia was very keen on developing its bilateral relations with Indonesia.

Russia wanted its relations with Indonesia to cover cooperation in the fields of economy, trade and also military technology.
