New York Avon 3-Day Race Rescheduled For October 26-28, 2001.(New York Avon Breast Cancer 3-Day)
2001 OCT 25 - (NewsRx.com & NewsRx.net) -- The third annual New York Avon Breast Cancer 3-Day has been postponed until October 26-28, 2001, due to the rescue and recovery efforts taking place, Pallotta TeamWorks and Avon Products, Inc. announced.
The Avon Breast Cancer 3-Day is a 3-day, 60-mile walk to raise awareness and funds for the fight against breast cancer.
"Our hearts are overwhelmed by what has happened in New York and across the country," said Dan Pallotta, Pallotta TeamWorks. "We have made the decision to postpone the Avon Breast Cancer 3-Day because the New York area is overburdened and its great reservoirs of kindness have been tapped beyond belief."
