These workers are so proud of the tires they make that they want the whole town to know about it.

With a population of 1,002, Woodburn, IN, just outside of Fort Wayne, prides itself on being the smallest incorporated city in the state. Similarly, employees of the Uniroyal Goodrich tire plant in the tiny town boast an enormous pride in their work, their product and their community. And they want the entire Fort Wayne area to know about it.

Since February of 1988, about half of the 1,600 workers there have participated in a unique in-house employee advertising campaign that promotes BFGoodrich tires through local advertising and community …
