BBC Creative Services has devised a major marketing push for BBC1's new comedy drama, Linda Green.
Starring Liza Tarbuck as a "sassy, northern single lass", BBC is calling the Liverpool-based series the "highlight" of its autumn schedule.
Christine Madden, the head of BBC1 marketing, said: "This is a major campaign for BBC1. The creative work has captured the essence of Linda Green -- confident, fun and sassy."
The campaign, which breaks on 9 October, will run across TV, radio, outdoor, online and ambient media.
It aims to introduce Linda Green to the potential audience through the eyes of her friends and family. Tarbuck also appears in a poster, which plays on the famous "Hello boys" Wonderbra ad. Instead she says: "Goodbye boys. Hello men." However, Tarbuck refrains from stripping down to her underwear for the ad.
