2001 OCT 17 - (NewsRx.com & NewsRx.net) -- Dendreon Corp. (DNDN) today announced it has entered into agreements with Bayer, Tarrytown, New York, to license two prominent tumor antigens for use in Dendreon's therapeutic cancer vaccines.
The first is a well-known antigen, carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA), which is commonly expressed by a wide range of cancers, including virtually all cases of colon cancer, 70% of lung cancers and approximately 65% of breast cancers.
