We needed a vehicle capable of towing our built-up Jeep on a trailer (approximately 7000 pounds) through the mountains of Colorado.

It was also important that the vehicle be useful as an everyday driver. We've owned four-wheel-drive trucks in the past, and were somewhat frustrated that the part-time systems did not permit use on highways where there might be ice in the shady curves without experiencing drivetrain binding on the dry stretches.

The C3 had what we wanted: a larger engine for towing (compared to other 1500 chassis models), all-wheel drive, larger tires and wheels, and a combination of power and handling that made it a viable candidate for a daily driver.

The interior is beautiful. The extra-thick carpet and sound-deadening material work nicely. The other guys at the office are asking what

it is and where they can get one. The onboard computer lets you customize your truck for your needs. Damned thing can even keep track of my business miles and personal miles. Good job GMC.
