5 Armymen die in LeT attack.
PRESS TRUST OF INDIA SRINAGAR, Sept. 30. Lashkar-e-Taiyaba militants today carried out a suicide attack on an Army convoy in Jammu and Kashmirs Baramulla district, officials said. Five soldiers were killed.
Elsewhere in the valley, eight people were killed, officials said.
Abu Hyder and Abu Rehman targeted an Army convoy on way to Baramulla from Kupwara at Chaka Mode. The troops retaliated and in the encounter, one jawan died and seven were injured. Four of the injured died in a hospital. The bodies of the militants were found later.
