KUANTAN, Wed. - The team which designed the pavilion for the national- level Quran Recital Assembly picked a mosque structure as its concept to envisage the importance of promoting unity among the ummah as demanded by Islam.

The creative team headed by Pahang Public Works Departments technician Mohammad Isa Hussain had drawn the idea from the Prophet Muhammad's migration from Mecca to Medina.

The Prophet's first move upon reaching Medina was to construct a mosque to bring the Muhajirin from Mecca and Ansar in Medina closer together.
