Brunei: Youth Ship trip shortened.

Ms Nippon Maru, the 28th Youth Ship of the Southeast Asian Youth Programme will be here until September 29.

The ship which had been in Muara Port since last Saturday will then be leaving for Singapore where it will stay until October 2.

As a result of a road tragedy that killed four participants of the international exchange programme which bring together youth from Japan and member nations of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Asean), this year's project has been shortened.

The ship that should have been sailing to Vietnam by now will instead go to Singapore, the intended last port of call.
