Hundreds of Clark County School District support workers are crowding into high schools to sign up for a new health plan.
Sierra Health Services Inc. is offering three options to replace the failed union health trust plan. Monday, at Silverado High School, more than 180 people quizzed Sierra staff about the choices, some feeling rushed and confused, others satisfied with the stability the new plan represents.
"It looks like a good swap to me," said Mike Strainis, a campus monitor at Boulder City High School. "One of my doctors isn't in the new plan, but I was pleased with the prescription drug plan."
