Puget Sound Energy announced the sale of ConneXt, its customer billing software subsidiary, to Dallas-based Alliance Data System as part of a deal to outsource PSE's data processing and billing services.
Terms of the sale were not disclosed, but the Bellevue-based utility entered into a 10-year contract with Alliance to handle PSE's billing and processing work. As part of the deal, Alliance Data will integrate ConneXt's ConsumerLinX software program into customer software applications.
