CART TV
Unfortunately for many CART fans, the news is not good (``Television Rating,'' Aug. 27). Due to our home's location and the cable operator's ``packages,'' if we subscribed to Speedvision, our monthly bill would more than double. Tuning into a CART event nowadays is a gamble. Will there be a race? Maybe. Will the coverage be third-rate? Absolutely. While the new production efforts may or may not help the on-air show, some, like us, will not be willing to gamble further.

AutoWeek, please step up your coverage of ``The Race Report.'' You're the only outlet 60 percent of us one-time CART fans will have next year.
