I JUST TRADED IN MY 2000 XKR for a 2001 Silverstone. I have owned Porsches, Ferraris, a Viper and various other toys. I can only say you get as much fun with half the effort. The car handles incredibly well, the power is awesome and the new stereo is great.

I BOUGHT IT FROM AN NFL PLAYER WHO decided he wanted an Aston Martin instead. He had bought it right off the truck and only put 1600 miles on the clock. Later he had Arden install side skirts, stainless-steel mufflers, a rear apron, large stainless-steel exhaust pipes, a black powder grille and front air dams. The changes are terrific. The exhaust makes it sound like a Jag should. The handling is fantastic. The fit-and-finish is exceptional. I had a Mercedes-Benz SL500 and I don't think there is any comparison. It is a phenomenal car. You can drive it every day and still have the performance. If you compare it to the Ferrari 360, you are getting a pretty good deal.
The problem is that if you drive it somewhere you have to be able to watch it. People are all over it. This is the prettiest automobile I've ever owned.

IT'S A COMPLETELY WONDERFUL, AMAZING car with virtually no faults. The acceleration and handling are both awesome. I traded in a regular XKR for the Silverstone and the head-turning on this car is remarkable. Having owned an XJS years ago, though, the most surprising feature is the quality and fit-and-finish.
