The Clark County School District's college-bound students equaled the national average on the math portion of the Scholastic Assessment Test in 2001, but fell slightly below average on the verbal section.
The results were released Tuesday by the district, after it received the information from The College Board, which sponsors the test. In Nevada, high school students more commonly take the ACT.
