One of Houston's best known watering holes has changed hands.
Kay's Lounge -- a local hangout that's been serving up cold beers and salty peanuts to an eclectic mix of Houstonians for more than 50 years -- has been sold to the owners of the Firehouse Saloon.
"It's a Houston tradition," says Josephine Claiborn of Madeline O'Brien Coldwell Banker, who represented Kay's owner Eldon Creech in the sale of the property after he decided to retire earlier this year.
