Peter Cutler, a longtime political aide and insider, is leaving Buffalo Mayor Anthony Masiello's administration for a private sector post.
Cutler, Masiello's director of communications since 1998, is joining Eric Mower and Associates as director of public relations services. Cutler is leaving City Hall on Sept. 14 and starting with Eric Mower on Oct. 9.
"Peter will make an immediate and significant impact on our agency and our clients," said Douglas Bean, Eric Mower managing partner. "He is universally respected for his professionalism and high standards. He is a smart communications strategist."
