RICH PARSONS, the GREATER WASHINGTON BOARD OF TRADE'S Maryland lobbyist, is leaving the regional business group to become the president of the MONTGOMERY COUNTY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE.
Parsons will take the helm at the long-suffering Montgomery Chamber in mid-September. He is filling a newly created position that will allow CEO ED TRUMBULL to focus on the work force development side of the group.
Parsons, who has an extensive political background, wants to beef up the group's lobbying and advocacy efforts and increase membership.
