Burlco shopping center to zero in on 'lifestyle'.(Brief Article)

When opening a so-called lifestyle shopping center, it helps to have a water view -- say, an indoor waterfall or even an indoor trout pond.

That may be the case when the Promenade at Sagemore, featuring 275,000 square feet of "lifestyle" retail space, opens in November on Route 73 in Marlton, N.J.

The Promenade will feature stores by L.L. Bean. and Coldwater Creek -- two catalog-sales companies that are expanding into retail. Both have entered the retail world with a splash, featuring waterfalls in their outdoor-themed stores.
