NO PACT BETWEEN ABANG ABU BAKAR AND OPPOSITION PARTIES IN SARAWAK.

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 4 (Bernama) -- There is no possibility of a pact between opposition parties and the team led by former Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) deputy president Datuk Abang Abu Bakar Mustapha, said PBB supreme council member Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar.

He said Abang Abu Bakar, a former defence minister who had claimed to be contesting for the Umno cause, would not want to be involved in any pact with the opposition parties such as DAP, Keadilan and PAS.

However, Umno has denied any involvement with Abang Abu Bakar and party leaders had said it would send teams to assist Sarawak BN parties during the election.
