Felda settler's guilty plea to rape of daughter rejected.

SEREMBAN, Tues. - The Sessions Court today rejected a guilty plea by a 41- year-old Felda settler charged with raping his 12-year-old daughter at his house in a Felda settlement in Bandar Baru Serting last year.

Judge Supiah Meon, in making the order, said she was of the opinion that the guilty plea by Shari Mohd Shariff, who is also a part-time contract worker, was a conditional and a qualified plea.

Supiah rejected the plea when Shari told the court that he was drunk when he raped his daughter who was then 11 years old.

Earlier, Shari, who was charged with two counts of raping the girl, pleaded guilty to the first charge of raping her at his house, …
