Memo to: NR Staff and Fans

From: WFB

What happened 25 years ago?

John Virtes came to NR to do research. He continues imperturbable, resourceful, genial. He knows everything, including who was there on the grassy knoll that fateful day! He will tell all on his 50th anniversary. He has our devoted thanks.

Dear Mr. Buckley: When someone dies at home without clear medical cause or sign of violence, the media often report that the person "died of an apparent heart attack." While I claim only minimal knowledge of cardiac catastrophes, I venture to wage that no one has ever died of an apparent heart attack.

Also, every time I'm on an airplane, the flight attendant asks us to turn off our portable electronic devices. Is it possible that people can get on a plane with electronic devices that are not portable?

Very apparently yours,
