ARLINGTON -- Dallas investor Bryan Dorsey heads a partnership that bought 70 acres of land in South Arlington, where an upscale residential development is planned.

The partnership, ECBD Bowen Road Ltd., also includes Dallas investor Eric Chancellor. The partnership bought the property, which includes an 87,000-square-foot office building, from Halliburton Energy Services. Atos Origin, a France-based data recovery and data storage company, occupies the building. The land is south of Interstate 20 near Bardin and Bowen roads.

Dorsey said he has plans for high-end residential development that likely will include garden homes, town homes and single-family homes. …
