LIKE Zubin Zainal, Paul Morrison's business card also reads sound engineer, producer and composer. Born in Staffordshire, England, he has been involved in the music scene since the age of 15, initially working part-time as a music engineer in Birmingham, England.

This much-talented chap (he plays the keyboards, drums and bass) came to Malaysia six years ago after being recommended by an associate from Synchrosound studios to try his luck on our shores.

Six years in Malaysia and his resume is pretty impressive. Nora, Camelia, Poetic Ammo, Ferhad, Reefa are just some of the Malaysian biggies that he has worked with.

Furthermore Paul is also the proud recipient of the best engineered album award for his work for Poetic Ammo during this year's AIM Awards. He was nominated for five different categories.

Paul shares Zubin's sentiments about the local music industry. To him, the Malaysian sound is still very urban, very traditional and more often than not, too predictable.
