* ECONOMIC RATINGS: State shows possibilities

CHARLOTTE, N.C.--When it comes to the economy, the sun continues to shine brightly on Florida.

Worries about an economic slowdown linger, throughout much of the nation. But Florida remains strong, as indicated by its four-star rating in Demographics Daily's economic ratings for July. That's just one step below the highest possible score.

The outlook is even brighter in selected urban areas.

Five Florida metro areas reached the peak by earning five-star ratings in July: Naples, Orlando, Fort Myers, West Palm Beach and Sarasota.

No other state placed more than three metros in the top echelon.
